Drop-in Pottery Painting

Drop in anytime – no reservation needed for Play with Clay or the Clay Bar. Come paint your own ready-made ceramics whenever it works for you. • We’ve got hundreds of unique pottery pieces to pick from – something for everyone. • Take your time! If you don’t finish in one visit, just come back as many times as you need – no extra charge. • Use as many paint colours as you like to bring your masterpiece to life. • Check out our collection of easy-to-use silk-screen stencils, Fun-Writers, etching tools, sponges, a variety of brushes, idea binders and more to help you add that extra flair. • Need a creative boost? Our team is always happy to help with tips, tricks, and inspo. • Prices are listed under each piece and include everything (average cost is between $25 & $35)– paint, tools, studio time, and kiln firing.

Drop-in Clay Hand-Building

Clay-building projects usually take two studio visits: • First visit – build and create your piece • Second visit – come back to glaze it (Want to do it all in one visit? You can! But you’ll be limited to just one glazing option.) • No experience needed – all ages and skill levels welcome • We’ve got all the tools you need to bring your idea to life • Our pottery instructors are here to guide you every step of the way with one-on-one help – work at your own pace • Take as long as you need to finish • Learn cool techniques like pinch potting, coiling, slab work, molding, clay puzzling & more • After about 2 weeks, your clay will be ready to glaze – choose from earthy high-fire glazes or colourful underglazes • Ideas are endless! Mugs, bowls, coasters, animal banks, masks, teapots, trinket boxes, vases, spoon rests… get creative! Each project is priced individually based on how much clay you use – most range between $35 to $40
